Welcome!
I am very excited to be hosting this wonderful organization at my shop as well as being a member. Our goal is use our knitting and crocheting skills to add some comfort to those in need in the coming colder months. It is my hope that with a more organized effort, we will be able to get more and more projects going and in the hands that need them as quickly as possible..
Our current membership is small but dedicated and we are looking forward to growing. We have spent the last two meetings going over our procedures and applying for membership with the parent organization, The Knitting Guild of America. Please do not let the knitting part of that keep you from lending your efforts to this guild. In my mind, knitting is synonymous with crochet. We are now set up and officers have been nominated and accepted. We will each serve one term and elections will be held again in one year. Please go to the About tab to learn more about membership.

Alesa Walters, Secretary
Luna Ortiz, Treasurer
Renee Smith, Publicist
Amy Aldenderfer, Officer At Large
Our next meeting is scheduled for December 6, 2011 at 5:30 at 114 West Dixie Avenue, Elizabethtown KY.
